2019 WV Wing Encampment

The West Virginia Wing will be conducting its 2019 Cadet Summer Encampment from July 6th– July, 13th, at Camp Dawson, WV. Camp Dawson, which is located in Kingwood, WV, is the training base for the West Virginia National Guard and Army Special Forces. The base provides lots of interesting activities and tours for the participants.

We are in the process of setting up the schedule of activities for the encampment. If all goes well, we will have the rappelling tower, the Leadership Development Course, and the firing range on the schedule again this year. This is addition to the land and water survival courses, the climbing wall, confidence course, Black Hawk helicopter O-Rides, C-130 O-Rides, and other outstanding training activities that are normally conducted.

We will use the WV Wing Facebook Page for the Encampment information and will post photos and announcements on that page during the encampment week.
