The West Virginia Wing Conference and Banquet will be held at the Charleston Marriott Town Center on 20-22 Oct 2023, with all main activities held on 21 October. You will need to make your own hotel reservations no later than 22 September. There are limited rooms available, so make your reservations before it's too late!
The conference itself is scheduled from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and includes the recognition of many members for their efforts throughout the year as well as informative seminars offered by the various directorates.
Our banquet this year begins with a reception at 6:00 pm followed by the actual banquet at 6:30 pm. In addition to the standard banquet, this year's banquet will include a change of command ceremony as we install incoming wing commander, Lt Col Debbie Butler-Case, for the upcoming 3 year term.
Upon completion of the banquet, cadets will have a cadet ball available from the end of the banquet until midnight.
Uniforms of the Day
General Assembly & Seminars
Personnel seated at the head table: Service dress coat, blue blazer combination or appropriate civilian attire
Audience: Air Force light blue shirt or blouse with or without tie/tab; White aviator shirt with or without tie (with gray slacks/skirt); blue CAP golf shirt (with gray slacks/skirt); Service Dress coat, blue blazer combination if desired or business casual wear (dress pants/shirt for men, skirts/blouse, pantsuit, pants and blouse, or dress for females).
Banquet
Mess dress, Service Dress, or CAP blazer combination with plain white shirt and black bow tie for senior members, semi-formal uniform for cadets or appropriate civilian attire, formal, semi-formal, business casual wear (dress pants/shirt for men, skirts/blouse, pantsuit, or dress for females).
Cadet Activity
Cadets may wear formal, semi-formal, or business casual wear (dress pants/shirt for men, skirts/blouse, pantsuit, or dress for females.) No jeans, tennis shoes, t-shirts with logos, graffiti, etc., or other inappropriate casual wear.
Sightseeing & Leisure
